Drive to Nanyuki Town takes about 4 hours from Nairobi with return to Nairobi in the evening. The Mount Kenya catchment provides a major water table for the whole country and the surrounding land is the breadbasket of Kenya.

You will be dropped off at the Sirimon Gate of Mount Kenya and commence the hiking right there; with your packed lunches and a guide. You will trek through the forest up to the Old Moses Camp at 3000 meters above sea level. Afterwards, you descend back to the Sirimon Gate and take the transfer back to Nairobi and are dropped off at your City Hotel or the Airport.
